Hi Steve. I am appreciative of your work and the opportunity you give listeners to interact with you. In your most recent commentary I agree with your perspective that Trump's rise to power is a symptom that reveals an unhealthy imbalance in the socioeconomic conditions in the US. As I see it, Trump lacks the ability to unite angry and frustrated lower and middle-class voters to join together, so in all likelihood his ambitions will lead to failure. However as I see it, I witness he has opened a door that a more savvy leader could also walk through and establish a successful overthrow of the status quo, either as a democratic socialist, or fascist. Do you see anyone on the horizon who has this potential?
In all matters tRump everyone is quick to point out that he will be untouchable because of his campaign for president. My question is simple… why? Where is the law written that a criminal cannot be indicted and participate in a trial during a campaign? Why is everyone seemingly hands off?
